Journal of the Ugnayang Pang-Aghamtao, Inc. (UGAT)
Aghamtao is the official publication of the Ugnayang Pang-Aghamtao, Inc. (UGAT), the Anthropological Association of the Philippines. Beginning with its maiden issue in 1978 devoted to a stocktaking of Anthropology in the Philippines, Aghamtao continues to provide a forum for the scholarship and practice of anthropology in the Philippines. Aghamtao comes out as a regular issue in October. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. The Editors assume no liability or responsibility for the personal views or opinions expressed by the authors. Authors certify that they have clearance for publication from their research communities.

Instructions for contributors:
Articles should be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 250 words. The minimum length for article submissions is 3,000 words. For referencing style please consult previous issues of Aghamtao.

AGHAMTAO CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Aghamtao Vol. 29
We are accepting article submissions for Vol. 29 of AGHAMTAO, the official and peer-reviewed journal of the Ugnayang Pang-Aghamtao, Inc. (UGAT), Inc. This issue will carry the theme, “Food (In)Security: Anthropology of Food and Eating.” The editors are especially interested in full versions of the papers or presentations read during last year’s conference and articles or essays that engage the conference theme. Submissions that were not presented in the conference, but have clear substantive, theoretical or methodological merit, shall be given due consideration for inclusion in the issue.

Please email submissions to aghamtaojournal@gmail.com as soon as possible in order to be considered for the issue, which is scheduled for launch during the 43 rd UGAT Annual Conference in 2021. To allow for the review process, the closing date for submissions for this particular issue is extended until 31 October 2020 . Submissions received beyond this date, however, may be considered for succeeding issues of the journal.

Article submissions must be emailed in MS Word .doc format, accompanied by an abstract of not more than 250 words. All figures (numbered and with captions) must be in a separate file. The minimum length for an article submission is 3,000 words. For referencing style, kindly consult recent issues of AghamTao.
